"TERRAMAC" material cycle system

Material that circulates in nature

"TERRAMAC" is a biomass material made from polylactic acid, which is made from plant-derived sugar. Instead of using limited fossil resources such as petroleum as raw materials, they are finally decomposed into water and carbon dioxide in the natural environment, which are used for photosynthesis of plants. "TERRAMAC" that circulates in the natural world is now being used for various purposes.

SUSTAINABLE ECO FRIENDLY
Biomass

01 01
Biomass

Biomass is a combination of biological resources and mass, and refers to renewable organic resources derived from living organisms, excluding fossil resources. It is an organic matter produced by living things by the energy of the sun streams down on the earth, and energy utilization is being promoted as a sustainable and renewable resource in the natural life cycle.

Polylactic acid (PLA)

Polylactic acid is a biomass plastic made from starch and sugar produced by plants, and is a biodegradable plastic that is decomposed by microorganisms in a well-conditioned environment. Since it is an aliphatic polyester resin with a polymerized structure of lactic acid and is a crystalline thermoplastic, it can be molded into various shapes by melt extrusion, injection molding, or foam molding.

03 03
Biomass plastic

It is a plastic made from biomass. Until now, plastics have been made from fossil resources such as petroleum, which are almost impossible to regenerate, but biomass can be regenerated within a period of several decades at the longest. Biomass plastic is attracting attention as a material that can contribute to reducing the consumption of fossil resources and suppressing the rise in carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere.
