廃棄予定繊維素材をアップサイクルブランド『octangle(オクタングル) 』が採用
Unitika Trading Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President: Katsuhide Kyunai) is actively engaged in sustainable activities such as reducing textile products waste generated within the company and recycling. ”MoriBito” is a project that creates new values related to the circular economy operated by mainly young employees and creators outside the company. This time “MoriBito” provided the unused fabric in the company to “octangle”(Representative: Tetsuro Mizutani), a remarkable brand related to upcycle. By combing the unused fabric and vinyl umbrellas that were no longer in use, upcycled products with new value were born. These products are going to be sold for a limited time at the Takashimaya Osaka store POP UP SHOP, where "octangle" is located.
