Declaration
of global environment conservation using biodegradable materials
-various
kinds of materials of plant origin made from corns-
"TERRAMAC" is a new biodegradable material made
from a plant. Polylactic acid, the base of TERRAMAC, is a
natural polymer chemically synthesized from plant material,
such as corns. Ultimately, TERRAMAC is degraded into CO2 gas
and H2O in natural environment. CO2 is used again as the source
of carbon for photosynthesis of a plant. TERRAMAC is an eco-friendly
material that comes from and returns to nature.
