Z-10

Demonstrates high levels of stretchability and resiliency through a special fiber structure

Z-10 is a polyester material with a side-by-side fiber using special technology to combine together two different types of polymers. It realizes a very high level of stretchability through combining together latent crimping, which causes crimps to form in response to heat applied during processing, and technology for crimping through thread processing. The Z-10 product lineup also includes Z-10 Kaikan, which demonstrates sweat absorbency and quick drying through instantly transferring sweat from the wearer’s skin to the surface of the fabric.

Maintains dryness through the use of modified cross-section fiber and blocks out UV rays using a special ceramic material

LUMIACE-UV

LUMIACE-UV is a polyester material with a modified cross-section fiber incorporating high-density special ceramics. Using capillary action in the modified cross-section, the material helps skin feel dry by quickly absorbing and diffusing sweat and moisture from the skin. In addition, its special ceramic material shades the skin from the sunlight and provides a high level of blocking out of UV ray penetration.

Nanophase Series

Increasing the durability of polyester functions through low-temperature plasma processing

The Nanophase Series is a series of highly durable functional processing materials applying our own unique low-temperature plasma-processing technologies. By reforming the surface of polyester fiber at a nanotechnology level, it is possible to employ graft polymerization of a variety of functional processing chemicals. This makes it possible to give polyester fiber functions with durability that would have been difficult to achieve before now.

    Nanophase-UF is a treated material with an antimicrobial function and a high level of durability. It maintains a high level of antimicrobial performance even after 100 washes. It also features absorbency, antistaticity, and stain resistance from traditional plasma processing technologies.
  • Nanophase-DE (highly durable deodorizing treated material)
    Nanophase-DE is a treated material with an antimicrobial function and a high level of durability. It demonstrates deodorizing performance against common odors such as sweat and has the highest level of washing durability ever seen. It also features absorbency, antistaticity, and stain resistance from traditional plasma processing technologies.
  • Nanophase-AS (highly durable antistatic treated material)
    Nanophase-AS realizes a high level of antistaticity that is highly durable as well, through thorough hydrophilization of polyester fiber. With its superior durability in the wash, it can be used in applications such as working wear needed to counter static electricity in electrical and electronic production workplaces.

Hygra

A nylon material that demonstrates superior moisture absorption and release through a core-sheath structure

Hygra is a textile with a core-sheath structure in which an absorbent polymer capable of absorbing water at roughly 35 times its own weight is wrapped in nylon. It has succeeded in combining nylon’s strong points of thinness, lightness, and flexibility with moisture absorption and release. This nylon material demonstrates better moisture absorbency and release performance than that of cotton, eliminating the stickiness and stuffiness of ordinary nylon. It is being used successfully in a wide range of fields, including athletic wear, underwear, socks, and industrial materials.
