In the sale of textiles, we purchase filament from domestic and foreign textile manufacturers such as companies of the Unitika Group, in order to supply customers with the textiles that they need. In particular, Unitika Trading is collaborating with textile a big effort to push "functional materials" such as sweat absorbing quick-drying materials, negative ion release materials and atrophy-improving materials. We were also a pioneer of eco-friendly materials made of recycled polyester. In the field of textiles for apparel, Unitika Trading sells apparel products to department stores, large volume retailers, strip mall and mail-order companies. Working with retailers and apparel manufacturers, we analyze product ideas and direction in an effort to provide "production that the customer approves of". Relying on the networking capabilities of the specialized trading company that we are, we select the best materials from sources around the world for the development as products by sawing factories both inside and outside Japan. Unitika Trading has the complete structure for planning and proposing production.

Uniforms for every situation
Uniforms worn in offices and the service industry must be functional on the one hand - meaning they must "unify corporate image", "look fashionable" and "facilitate movement"- while, on the other, they require added-value such as "environmental-friendliness", "beautifying and health-improving effects" and so on. To meet these needs, in the field of textiles and Apparel, Unitika Trading plans and produces uniforms using "sophisticated materials". We have a proud 20-year history of selling the "Symphonic" brand of uniforms to chorus groups in Japan. Unitika Trading is also exploring ways to increase sales by stirring up demand in niche markets for caddy wear and Taisho harp uniforms.
