UNITIKA TRADING Co., Ltd. as of October 1, 2009.

We make the best efforts toward the environment activity for symbiosis of human beings and nature.
Unitika Trading Co., Ltd. has been providing a variety of products for various applications in clothing and resource, from industrial-use products to consumer goods, for many years. Considering that environmental conservation and creation of clean environment are the most important issue common to all human beings in each of the applications, we perform business activities conscious of eco-friendly products, such as sales, purchase, and planning. Our headquarters, Tokyo branch, and Sapporo office acquired ISO14001, an international standard of the environmental management system.
Environmental principles
1) Taking environmental impact into account, we purchase, plan, and sell eco-friendly products.
2) We are willing to purchase eco-labeled products, considering its necessity. We consider Green procurement.
3) When selling or planning products, we consider promotion of the environmental conservation, energy saving and resource saving, and reduction in environmental load, to improve environment.
4) We properly understand the environmental impact, determine the environmental purposes and goals, and regularly review and continuously improve them.
5) We comply with environmental regulations, accords, and agreements related to our activities and products, and make efforts to prevent environmental contamination.
6) We prepare for dealing with emergencies, such as a building fire.
